Getting a new start

As many know, and some are probably just finding out, I'm living in China now. I have a one year teaching contract at a university just south of Shanghai. China is a first for me, and I'm still adjusting to it.

There's no denying that it's fun though. I've had a lot of adventures in the past month. I just got back from a 3 day trip to another city in our province. My coworkers and I had a lot of fun, though I think we've seen enough of each other for a while ^^;

I got LOTS of pictures, which makes me happy. Most didn't turn out, because it's really hard to capture what I was trying to get. Still, I think there's enough in there to give my gallery the jump start it's needed.

I know a lot of my watchers first came to my gallery for my pictures of Japan. I don't have any more of those to post. I just hope that these new pictures from China live up to what you came to see.

No problem. I'm currently reading "A Dream of Red Mansions" and when I did a search for art of it, I was glad to discover that artists like you with so much talent are drawing characters from the book.

These characters inspired me and the novel's really worth poring over! :D
